"Working toward my lifelong goal of bringing dance education and experiences to my hometown, I dedicate myself to exposing students to the power of dance and its ability to define their individual voice, increase self-confidence, and develop a sense of belonging, understanding and awareness of their own bodies.  Through technique and interdisciplinary approaches, I work to connect to our community through classes, choreography, performances,  and reflection.

Statewide arts advocacy nonprofit organization Arkansans for the Arts on Thursday named Hot Springs School District dance teacher Amy Bramlett-Turner as its first Arkansas Fine Arts Teacher of The Year.
